The Ikebana International Bucharest Association, together with the Faculty of Horticulture at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, has the honor of announcing the opening of the third edition of the Ikebana Festival!
The Ikebana Festival begins on October 3rd and features demonstrations, exhibitions, and workshops on Ikebana, as well as other traditional Japanese arts.
On October 5th at 10:00 AM, we will host a truly special event: Master Kazuo Makioka Sensei (Nara, Japan)—a disciple and successor to Osamu Mori Sensei, a monumental figure in the art of Japanese gardens—will give a lecture on Japanese gardens, marking his first such presentation in Romania.
This year, we are also collaborating with the following partners: Flavia Sasaki (Kitsuke), the Murasaki Center, and Chado Urasenke Tankokai Romania, all of whom will be conducting workshops and demonstrations.
